The doctor who commissioned this new health centre
was keen to provide a better environment
for his patients from an ex-mining community than the embattled
clinic it replaced. The use of robust and resilient
materials is tempered by curving shapes and the use
of strong colour and natural materials. The
building is well looked after which might suggest a good example
of care by the community.
