Proposed Extension Render 1400x787

Wildblood Macdonald have recently secured a planning consent for a contemporary extension in a village north of Leeds.

The extension links the main house with the generous rear gardens, which are on 3 different levels. Stepping up the hill, each room relates to the topography of the site. The lower ground level opens out onto a patio, the upper ground to the middle lawn and the upper mezzanine to a new deck and the top lawn. The concept is to create a contemporary garden pavilion, with the lower level forming a solid base to the ‘box’ at the upper level. This upper level garden room has a lovely hideaway feel, remote from the main house and with a super connection to the garden. The predominant materials are fibre cement cladding panels, natural stone and aluminium framed floor-to-ceiling doors.

We are delighted to be progressing to working drawings and look forward to seeing this project onto site next year. Watch this space for updates!
