Site Plan 1 1400 x 787

Wildblood Macdonald are pleased to have submitted plans for a high quality residential development at Wynyard Park, Stockton on Tees.

The 3 hectare plot forms part of Wellington Manor, a large detached house in an Arts and Crafts style, set in substantial grounds including a protected woodland and is partially within the boundary of the Grade II* listed park and gardens of Wynyard Park.

The outline planning application is for 10 detached self build plots. The development seeks to respond to the heritage setting, by use of a simple palette of materials and by leaving generous gaps between buildings for views through to the wider landscaped setting. The scale of the proposed dwellings will be subject to a further Reserved Matters application, however it is intended that they would not exceed 2 storey in height, with potential for additional rooms in the roof space. A “design intent and vision” document accompanies the application, which seeks to control the quality of the future designs at reserved matters stage.
