About Us

Wildblood Macdonald was founded in 1976.  The practice has grown from its two founding partners to a complement of 16 architects, technologists and administrative staff, with a reputation for high quality design work.

In that period we have become particularly well known for the design of sensitive housing, large private houses and children’s hospices. But our experience and expertise also extends over a wide range of other building types. Increasingly we are undertaking mixed use schemes involving master planning.

We have a wealth of experience in the planning system. Our understanding of planning policy and guidance, coupled with our design skills have led to considerable success in the planning applications and appeals that we have handled.
