Weetwood Leeds proposed elevations

Wildblood Macdonald has prepared the designs for 45 new homes in the Weetwood area of Leeds.

It is anticipated that an application for outline planning will be submitted to Leeds City Council in March of this year.

The site sits within Greenbelt and the Weetwood conservation area and forms part of a wider proposal to invest in the future of the Headingley Carnegie Stadium in order to retain test match cricket in 2019.

The masterplan proposes well spaced detached houses within a generous landscaped setting, adjacent to Meanwood Park.

45 dwellings are proposed in total of which 5 will be affordable homes and 7 will be apartments. The remaining 33 dwellings will be detached houses over two or three storeys. A public right of way runs through the site and allows for enhanced connectivity to Meanwood Park, and includes scope for generously landscaped buffers and green ‘vistas’ along the street scenes.
