Wildblood Macdonald have been commissioned to undertake designs to re-model an existing beach-fronted property in Cumbria. The existing dwelling has previously been unsympathetically altered, resulting in small, cellular rooms with limited connection to the wider landscape. The site lies with an area of outstanding natural beauty.
The design seeks to open the internal spaces and take full advantage of the elevated beach-fronted views. An external patio and hot tub is accessed directly off the main living spaces. Frameless glass guardings and high quality aluminium framed sliding screens all allow maximum natural light into the property and provide a panoramic vista over the wider landscape. A new garage block and enhanced soft landscaping have also been included.
